Welcome to Tibr. By using the Tibr app or gettibr.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

What Tibr is

• Tibr is a digital platform where gold and jewellery shops list their products and buyers contact them directly.
• Tibr is not a party to any sale: sale, payment, delivery, warranty and invoicing happen directly between buyer and merchant, and the merchant is responsible for their products.
• Displayed prices are estimates based on the live gold price and the merchant's making charge, and may differ at purchase. Confirm the final price, karat and weight with the merchant before paying.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private and for all activity on your account.
• We may suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms or is used for fraud or abuse.

Merchant obligations

• The shop must be licensed to trade gold and gold jewellery under the laws of its country, and pieces must carry the official hallmark approved there.
• Product details must be accurate (karat, weight, making charge, real photos of the piece and availability).
• Reply to buyers honestly, honour booked visits and issue an invoice to the buyer.
• Do not list counterfeit or stolen items or misleading or illegal content.

Merchant subscriptions

• Showing products to buyers requires an active subscription. Each plan's details (price, duration, visible products, branches, featured products, statistics) are shown in the app.
• The Basic plan may include a free period for a merchant's first time only; payment is required afterwards.
• When a subscription ends there is a short grace period, after which products stop showing until renewal, without deleting store data.
• Products are removed automatically after the set period unless the merchant renews them, and the merchant is notified before removal.
• Subscription payments are non-refundable once the subscription is activated, except where required by law or in case of our error.

Tibr points, referrals and sales agents

Tibr points, referral rewards and sales-agent commissions follow the rules shown in the app. We may change them or cancel any obtained through abuse or fake accounts.

Acceptable use

• Not allowed: harassment or abuse in chats, inappropriate content, advertising other platforms, attempting to hack or scrape the platform, or creating fake accounts.
• You can report any product or user from inside the app and we will review it.

Content and ownership

Merchants keep ownership of their photos and content and grant Tibr permission to use them to display on the platform, in share posts and to promote the platform.

The Tibr name, logo and platform design belong to Tibr and may not be used without permission.

Limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for disputes or losses arising from dealings between buyers and merchants, or for the accuracy of displayed gold prices, to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt (where Tibr is based) and Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory rights granted by the user's local law.

Changes

We may update these terms and will publish the new version here. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept it.
